![]() The goal of this area is to lead Dampé to each of the strange sand pits in the room. The final grave features Dampé the Gravekeeper, who allows Link to lead him around with Tatl’s light. Defeating this Iron Knuckle will reveal a treasure chest containing a Heart Piece. The labyrinth leads to a room I can only describe as horrific: Another Iron Knuckle sits in the room, alone, surrounded by piles of skulls. This grave’s grotto features floors and enemies that can only be seen with the Len of Truth. Flat asks him to heal his cursed brother, Sharp, with the song. Defeating him will reveal Flat, who teaches Link the “Song of Storms,” one of the songs Link forgot he learned in Ocarina of Time. The final area in this grotto is a theater with the stage closed off by a curtain. Defeating them and lighting the torches in the room will reveal a chest and unbar the next room. The grave on the first night features a horde of Bad Bats. If the player dons the Captain’s Hat, the Stalchildren will ask Link if they need to open the grave. Each night, three Stalchildren guard a different grave. This is because the events of the Graveyard are accessible at night, excluding winning the Captain’s Hat. The best way to complete the events of the Graveyard is to pair them with the tasks at Romani Ranch and various other sidequests in the game. Link responds by saluting the captain, allowing him to rest in piece. After telling Link about the war and requesting him to convey the end of the war to his men, Captain Keeta asks if he is dismissed. The battle will end and he will present the Captain’s Hat in one of my favorite moments in the game. I found a simple way to win this race: Have Link wear the Goron Mask, roll to the flame walls, defeat both Stalchildren with a single punch, and rinse and repeat.Įventually, the player will reach Captain Keeta and punch him until he admits defeat. The twist is that walls of flame appear, and Link must defeat two Stalchildren to advance past them. This race is not the standard race to the finish. Captain Keeta guards this hat, and Link must beat him in a race to win it. To open them, the player must obtain the Captain’s Hat hidden in the chest at the end of the graveyard. These graves are guarded by loyal Stalchildren. Ikana Graveyard is an area with three secret grottos hidden beneath gravestones. As well as the grand locales, we’ll also discover all the secret caves and hidden crevices that lie between. We’ll explore everywhere: the beautiful landscapes that make us put down the controller in awe the deadly terrain that threatens Link with the harshest of elements the bustling towns that bring the game to life and the abandoned grounds that evoke peace and sadness. #Ikana canyon well seriesWearing the Gibdo Mask inside of the Ancient Castle of Ikana will cause the Redeads to dance.Tingle’s Maps is a series in which we explore the endless lands of Hyrule in search of our favorite places in The Legend of Zelda. The Gibdo Mask allows Link the ability to talk to Gibdos, as well as prevent Gibdos and Redeads from attacking. He was cursed to be a Gibdo after attempting to go into a nearby well and, in fear of what would happen to him, Pamela locked him in the closet to protect him. The man, as it turns out, is Pamela's father. However, playing the Song of Healing will lift the curse on the man, leaving behind a mask and a confused man. Attempting to attack it will cause Pamela to rush back into the house and protect the creature. Hesitant, she starts exploring the surroundings, allowing Link a chance to enter.Įntering the house and proceeding to the basement will reveal a large closet and, much to Link's surprise, a half mummified Hylian will lunge out at you. With the return of water, the Gibdo will scatter and, with them gone, a little girl emerges from the house. The house itself is locked and the only way to unlock it is to restore the water to the river. Surrounding the house is a dried up river and small group of Gibdos, which will attack Link if he gets too close. In the canyon lies a strange house, built with a large phonograph from it's roof. Ikana Canyon is empty, devoid of any living besides the undead and a father and his child. :black_small_square: □ :black_small_square: □ :black_small_square: □ :black_small_square: □ :black_small_square: □ :black_small_square: □ :black_small_square: □ :black_small_square: □ :black_small_square: □ :black_small_square: A cursed mask that once possessed it's wearer, the Gibdo Mask is modelled after one of the most notable enemies in the Zelda series. ![]()
